On September 23 in the morning, Pope Francis will celebrate Mass in Santakos Park in Kaunas. We invite you to participate in and be witnesses to this historic event.
Pope Francis is coming to Lithuania because he wants to meet its people, to meet each one of us. He believes he can give us something very important.
Saint John Paul II started such pontific journeys. May this meeting with Pope Francis in Kaunas Santakos Park be an impetus for hope and renewal, similar to the one we experienced 25 years ago during the visit of John Paul II.
All the meetings with the Holy Father are FREE
Registration is required to the Holy Mass on September 23 in Kaunas and to the meeting with young people on September 22 in Vilnius. No registration is needed to come to other meetings (at the Gates of Dawn, at S. Daukanto Square and Lukiškės Square in Vilnius) or at the road which the Pope will take.
Families who intend to participate in the Holy Mass must have individual invitations for all the family members, even for babies. The program in Santaka starts at 8:00 a.m. Please, arrive earlier, considering the latest arrival time indicated in the invitation.

“Since the beginning of his pontificate, Pope Francis has sought, in various ways, to help all the faithful to return to the right relationship with God, and, through that relationship to the right relationship with each other. First of all, he invites everyone to pray, as evidenced by the very first sentence he said after his election to the papacy, "Pray for me”.“Pope constantly emphasizes the importance not only of speaking with God but also of intercession for one another”, says Archbishop Gintaras Grušas, President of Lithuanian Bishops' Conference.
